Delivery times

Delivery will be made to the address indicated by the customer, within a maximum of 30 days from confirmation of the order, unless otherwise agreed. Delivery will be made on working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) and during office hours to the address indicated in the order.

The delivery times listed on the website are for guidance only. Actual delivery times will depend on product availability. The University of Barcelona will do everything possible to ensure that delivery times are met and that orders are delivered within the period indicated. Customers will be notified if the original delivery period cannot be met or an ordered product is not available.

Delivery may take several days for orders received during the Christmas and Easter periods and during August.

In the case of shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla and to other destinations outside Spain, the stated delivery times do not account for possible delays due to customs regulations and payment of duties.

Once your order has been prepared you will receive an email with the shipment number and tracking information so that you can track it via the carrier's website.

Orders will be shipped as quickly as possible, but delivery times may be affected by delays due to the customs requirements of specific destinations, over which the University has no control. Similarly, the University cannot be held liable for delays caused by industrial action, armed conflict or any other circumstance beyond its control or for the confiscation of specific items by customs authorities in the country of destination.

The risk of loss or damage to any items acquired shall be the responsibility of the purchaser from the moment they take possession of the order.

If a package cannot be delivered and is returned to the University of Barcelona we will proceed to issue a refund of the purchase, excluding shipping costs. A package may be considered impossible to deliver if the address provided was incorrect or if it is returned by the carrier following multiple failed delivery attempts.

If the customer still wishes to purchase items that could not be delivered, they will need to place a new order and pay the corresponding shipping costs.

Orders can also be collected at the physical shop located at Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 585, 08007, Barcelona, Spain. If this delivery option is chosen, no shipping costs will be charged. The customer will receive an email indicating the date from which the order can be collected. Orders will be available for collection 15 days, after which an email will be sent indicating that the order will be refunded via the payment method used to make the purchase.
