Once the order has been prepared, an e-mail is sent to inform you of the shipment number and can be tracked from the carrier's website.

The order is shipped as soon as possible, but the provisions of the destination country must be taken into account for the import of the requested items, which are outside the University. Nor are the effects of strikes, war conflicts or other circumstances beyond its control attributable to the University; delays in customs withholding, or if local authorities decide to confiscate any items contained in the shipment.

From the moment the product is delivered, the risk of loss or deterioration is the responsibility of the buyer.

If a package cannot be delivered and is returned to the University of Barcelona, ​​the corresponding refund is issued, excluding shipping costs. A package is considered to have been unable to deliver, when the address provided is incorrect or several failed delivery attempts have been made.

In the event that the customer wishes to purchase the undelivered products, he can re-order and reimburse the shipping costs.

It is also possible to pick up orders at our physical point of sale, located at Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 585 (08007, Barcelona). If you choose this delivery method, shipping costs are not charged. In this case, the customer receives an email with the date from which he can pick up the order and has a period of fifteen days to make the collection.

If after these fifteen days the package has not been picked up by the store, an e-mail will be sent informing you that a refund of the order amount will be made using the same payment method used. the purchase.

23. Returns Policy

A) Right of withdrawal

In the event that the buyer has the status of consumer or user, he has the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen calendar days without justification.

The withdrawal period expires after fourteen calendar days from the day on which the buyer or a third party indicated to receive the delivery, other than the carrier, acquired material possession of the goods or in the event that the goods that make up his order are delivered. separately, after 14 calendar days from the day on which he acquired material possession of the last of these goods.

To withdraw from the purchase, the buyer must notify the University of Barcelona of the decision to withdraw from the contract through an unequivocal statement before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. In the event of withdrawal by the buyer, all payments made to him will be refunded, including the original shipping costs (except for additional costs if he has chosen a delivery method other than the less costly ordinary delivery available) without any undue delay and, within fourteen calendar days from the date on which the university is informed of its decision to withdraw from the contract.

The refund is made by the same means of payment used by the buyer in the initial purchase, unless specifically indicated otherwise, and in this case indicating the means of payment by which you want the return and provided that it does not incur at no expense as a result of the refund.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the university may withhold the refund until receipt of the products, or until the buyer submits proof of the return.

The return of the goods must be made without undue delay and, in any case, within a maximum period of fourteen calendar days from the date on which the university is notified of the withdrawal of the contract.

B) Defective products 

If you have received a defective product, as long as it has not been used or damaged due to causes attributable to the customer or buyer, the University of Barcelona is responsible for replacing it (whenever possible) or proceeding with a refund. Once we have received the returned item and verified that it is in perfect condition, we will send you an email to confirm the shipment of the new size. The costs of returning and shipping the new size are borne by the buyer. If the desired size is not available, we will refund the amount of this piece (excluding shipping costs) using the same payment method as the purchase.

In the event that you want to change the model, it is not considered a change but a product return.

25. Responsibility

Unless otherwise provided by law, the university does not accept liability for loss of business, income or sales, lost profits or loss of contracts, planned savings, data and office hours management time.

Likewise, the university is not responsible for non-compliance or delay in fulfilling the obligations assumed due to events beyond our reasonable control or cases of cause or force majeure (among others: strikes, employer closures, riots, wars, fires, storms, floods, earthquakes, epidemics or other natural disasters, impossibility or closure of transport, communications or telecommunications or governmental or legal restrictions). Obligations are suspended in these circumstances.

26. Partial nullity

In the event that it is determined that any provision of the Contract Conditions is illegal, void or unenforceable, this provision will, however, be effective in obtaining the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and the non-enforceable part will be considered separate from these conditions of purchase, without affecting the validity of the other remaining provisions.

27. Communications

The user expressly accepts and consents to the use of electronic means of communication or notification for all communications related to the contracting and purchase of the products on the website, and the use of e-mail as a valid procedure for submission of such communications or notifications, complying with the legal requirements of being in writing, without affecting the rights recognized by law.

28. Legislation and jurisdiction

The general conditions of contract are governed by Spanish law and will be in accordance with the provisions of Law 34/2002, on information society services and electronic commerce, Law 7/1998, on general conditions of contract, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, approving the revised text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, and Law 7/1996, on the regulation of retail trade , as well as other applicable legal provisions.
