In the event that the product is not fully or partially available, due to supply difficulties or lack of stock, the amount corresponding to the product that cannot be used will be refunded, using the same payment method as the purchase.

Price and method of payment

The price of the products is what appears on the website at the time of purchase. Prices posted on the website include VAT (Value Added Tax). Special promotions are duly indicated on the website.

However, in accordance with the provisions of Law 37/1992, of 28 December, regulating value added tax (VAT), the operation may be exempt or not subject to it depending on the country of residence. of the buyer and the condition in which he acts (employer or individual). As a result, the final price may in some cases vary from what is stated on the website.

The price does not include, in any case, import taxes (duties), which are always borne by the buyer and paid at destination.

The consignee is responsible for all additional import costs and taxes incurred at the customs office of destination, whether the goods are delivered to him or not.

Once the order has been confirmed, the payment method has been chosen and the general conditions of purchase have been accepted, the user must pay using one of the available payment methods: debit or credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD).

Product availability

In the event that some of the products are not available, due to supply difficulties or lack of stock, any amount paid for the order will be refunded.

Delivery times

The order is delivered to the address indicated by the customer, within a maximum of thirty days from the date of confirmation of purchase, unless otherwise agreed. Deliveries are made on weekdays, Monday through Friday, non-holidays, and during office hours.

In any case, the delivery date is indicative, as it depends on the availability of the product. However, the University of Barcelona will take the appropriate measures to ensure that the deadlines are met and the delivery takes place within the planned period. Delivery times can be extended by several days for orders received during the Christmas, Easter and August periods.

The order is shipped as soon as possible, but the provisions of the destination country must be taken into account for the import of the requested items, which are outside the University. Nor are the effects of strikes, war conflicts or other circumstances beyond its control attributable to the University; delays in customs withholding, or if local authorities decide to confiscate any items contained in the shipment.

From the moment the product is delivered, the risk of loss or deterioration is the responsibility of the buyer.

If a package cannot be delivered and is returned to the University of Barcelona, ​​the corresponding refund is issued, excluding shipping costs. A package is considered to have been unable to deliver, when the address provided is incorrect or several failed delivery attempts have been made.

Returns Policy

A) Right of withdrawal

The refund is made by the same means of payment used by the buyer in the initial purchase, unless specifically indicated otherwise, and in this case indicating the means of payment by which you want the return and provided that it does not incur at no expense as a result of the refund.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the university may withhold the refund until receipt of the products, or until the buyer submits proof of the return.

The return of the goods must be made without undue delay and, in any case, within a maximum period of fourteen calendar days from the date on which the university is notified of the withdrawal of the contract.

B) Defective products

The costs of returning and shipping the new size are borne by the buyer. If the desired size is not available, we will refund the amount of this piece (excluding shipping costs) using the same payment method as the purchase.

In the event that you want to change the model, it is not considered a change but a product return.

You also have the possibility to make the change physically at our point of sale located at Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 585, 08007 Barcelona, ​​Spain. After checking that the product is in perfect condition, the item is resized, which must always be the same model that was initially purchased. The customer will receive a receipt for the change in size of the item. If the desired size is not available, we will refund the amount of the piece using the same payment method as the purchase. Reimbursement is not made, under any circumstances, at the physical store.

Responsibility

Unless otherwise provided by law, the university does not accept liability for loss of business, income or sales, lost profits or loss of contracts, planned savings, data and office hours management time.

Likewise, the university is not responsible for non-compliance or delay in fulfilling the obligations assumed due to events beyond our reasonable control or cases of cause or force majeure (among others: strikes, employer closures, riots, wars, fires, storms, floods, earthquakes, epidemics or other natural disasters, impossibility or closure of transport, communications or telecommunications or governmental or legal restrictions). Obligations are suspended in these circumstances.

Partial nullity

In the event that it is determined that any provision of the Contract Conditions is illegal, void or unenforceable, this provision will, however, be effective in obtaining the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and the non-enforceable part will be considered separate from these conditions of purchase, without affecting the validity of the other remaining provisions.

Communications

The user expressly accepts and consents to the use of electronic means of communication or notification for all communications related to the contracting and purchase of the products on the website, and the use of e-mail as a valid procedure for submission of such communications or notifications, complying with the legal requirements of being in writing, without affecting the rights recognized by law.

Legislation and jurisdiction

The general conditions of contract are governed by Spanish law and will be in accordance with the provisions of Law 34/2002, on information society services and electronic commerce, Law 7/1998, on general conditions of contract, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, approving the revised text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, and Law 7/1996, on the regulation of retail trade , as well as other applicable legal provisions.

Disputes that may arise in relation to the contract will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts and tribunals, expressly waiving another jurisdiction provided that this is legally permitted and preserving the rights recognized by current legislation to users who contract under consumers.
